Such a great pizzeria! Ordered to go, but ate the chickpea fries while we were waiting. We got the margarita, eleonora, and carina pizzas and the mortazza pizzadina. Wanting to try a new pizza spot with some friends, we decided to check out Pizzeria Carina. We were joyfully welcomed by their staff. We received outstanding service and were even met by one of the chefs who, not only asked us how our food was, but shared the story behind some of their food. The crust should play a leading role in any good pizza.  Carina succeeds. Slow fermented to build flavor, hand stretched to order, producing a pliable thin crust that is sturdy enough for toppings, and crisp-tender to chew.

Unlike too many other pizza joints in the area, this crust has FLAVOR!  Can’t wait to try some of their sandwich offerings using the same dough.

This pizza is more of a Roman style, I believe.  It’s not a Neapolitan or a New York style.  But if you like either of these, and enjoy a lighter thin crust, I’m pretty sure you will love this one.

I like that the pizza is small, so you can enjoy a couple of different ones if you are a couple, or devour one on your own without feeling overly stuffed.  Quality toppings too for a departure from the standard old-school American style fare.  Different and delicious.

Their pizza and chickpea fries were absolutely delicious.  Their staff is very friendly and ready to help. We ended up taking out our food as we were in a hurry, and they were very nice and accommodated our ad-hoc request.
